Backline Requirements (to be
supplied by the symphony):
Mics: 3 wireless, handheld microphones with boom
stands.
Electric Piano/Keyboard: 1 RD 700 keyboard or
Yamaha P200, 250 or CP300; with X stand; stool and pedal.
Production:
Videographer, technician and large screen. Ideally, you want the audience to
see what the artist is painting while she is creating it.
Lighting: Constant, overhead lighting on the
canvas and the orchestra is essential. Also, 1 standup lamp or 2 clamp lights
for the easle.
Table: 1 table,
roughly 4' x 4', with table cloth for paints and water.
Easle: 1 large sized easle.
Floor Covering: 1 carpet 8' x 10' (if possible, e.g.
"oriental-style") or plastic drop sheet (large). The carpet gives a 'home
studio' feel to the visual aspect of the show.
