The drum riser must measure between 6' X 6' and 8' X 8', and be
between 12" and 36" high, with steps facing the side closest to the access from
the dressing room.
A very small 3' high black table is needed on stage near the
bass amp .
Backline Requirements (to be
supplied by the symphony):
Mics: 4 Shure SM58 microphones with boom
stands.
Electric Piano/Keyboard: Yamaha S90 or S80 - with
a subtle black "not
too current looking" stand, and pedal.
Drums: 5-piece set of drums with all hardware and
cymbals: 1 bass drum (there is no hole in the front skin), 1 snare, 1 tom, 1
floor tom, 1 high-hat, 1 ride, 1 crash. Also, one percussion mic is needed with
a 1' mic stand.
Bass Amp: 1 bass amp with a "Line-out" XLR or go
direct and use a monitor
Guitar Amps: 2 guitar amps - VOX AC-30's
if possible, or Fender bluesman or deluxe-type
Orchestration:
Piccolo (Optional. Perhaps
the flute player can look at the parts and decide which suits
better)
